"I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ." Philemon 1:6
If we give away our money we may eventually empty our bank account. But the more that we give away our faith through witness and service the fuller our spiritual account grows.
Plans for spiritual growth that focus only on intake (i.e. Bible Study, prayer, worship, etc.) will not lead to the full enjoyment of every good thing that is ours in Christ. Spiritual growth and abundant life (John 10:10) require us to not only feed our faith but to give our faith away.
Father, help me to be alert to opportunities and active in giving my faith away so that I may grow to more fully know and enjoy every good thing that is mine in Christ.
