God's Faithfulness

"But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets." Revelation 10:7

As we celebrate Christmas we remember that God's promises given through His prophets were fulfilled. Promises like, "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel" (Isaiah 7:14, see Matthew 1:22-23). And, "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times" (Micah 5:2, see Matthew 2:5-6).

As we look toward the return of Christ we do so with the confidence that God will again fulfill all that He promised through His prophets. Be confident of the faithfulness of God as You celebrate one coming of Christ and anticipate the next coming.

Father, "Great is thy faithfulness!" I thank you for the fulfilment of Your promises in Christmas and count on Your faithfulness in my present life and in the future coming of my Lord Jesus.

I'm praying for you.
Pastor Mark
