"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes on him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed." Revelation 16:15

As we celebrate the first coming of Christ this Christmas season it is appropriate for us to anticipate His second coming with assurance that He will once again come as promised. Many will be caught off guard by the coming of Christ. But let us be dressed and ready through continual anticipation and preparation. Live each day as if it may be the day.

Father, I thank you that you sent Christ once in fulfilment of Your promises and that You will do so a second time. Help me to keep Christ's coming in mind and to live each day to His glory so that I'll welcome Him unashamed at His coming.
