"It all happened at the time God had said it would"!!! God is always right on time. He is never early. He is never late. He knows the perfect time. But oh how difficult it is for us to wait for His time. Abraham and Sarah had stumbled in impatience along the way. But they learned to wait in faith and in God's perfect timing they experienced His amazing blessing.
The Israelites waited long and often impatiently for the promised Christ to appear. And God's Word reports, "But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman..." (Galatians 4:4 NLT). Once again God was right on time.
Is there a promise of God that you are waiting on Him to fulfill in your life? If yes, then wait in patience knowing that God is not idle. He is working in your life now preparing You for His perfect time. If no, then ask God to reveal the promise that He wants you to trust Him to fulfill. "He has given us all of his rich and wonderful promises" (2 Peter 1:4 NLT). He wants You to trust Him to fulfill His promises in Your life.
Father, You are faithful. You're timing is perfect. Teach me to walk with You and wait upon You in faith as You taught Abraham and Sarah. Reveal to me the promise(s) You would have me to believe and wait in hope for You to fulfill.
